YESTERHOUR

A radio host and a traveling dancer join forces to create a new form of entertainment, distracting their strange decopunk city from a steadily-growing cosmic terror in the sky...
YA Alt. Dimension Sci-Fi Novel with Retrofuture Elements
It’s 1939. In The Middle of Nowhere, U.S.A., there lies a strange decopunk city called Juncturetown. This city has a bit of a problem—there’s a rip in the sky. A rip in the sky that’s exposing the city to an otherworldly cosmic radiation, warping people’s senses and driving them mad (or turning them into monsters) if they look at it for too long. Unbeknownst to them, the rip in the sky is slowly pulling the city into another dimension, and not even Town Hall's strict "Don't Look Up" mandate will be able to save them.

Setting
Our 2 POV Characters:

- Capella Caruso -
Juncturetown's bombastic, snazzy and applause-hungry radio host who plans to bring television to the city — a perfect distraction to keep people's eyes off the sky, and squarely on her.

- Marley Drew -
A playful but perturbed Irish traveling dancer with a banjo, a fear of performing alone, and a complicated history with partners, whose hazardous arrival in Juncturetown earns him a large debt.
